Andrew has engaged, supported, and advised HR executives for over fifteen years, and has extensive experience in organizational development, business development and employee benefits consulting. As an Executive Vice President at Bolton & Company, he provides strategic guidance in all stages of benefits program development, including research, plan design and implementation. Andrew sees that both he and his team proactively address clients' evolving needs.

Andrew was awarded Top Producer and received the Dorance D. Bolton Award. Currently, he is serving as President of the National Human Resources Association, Los Angeles Affiliate, and is also President of the Visionary Executive Network, a group aimed at building and supporting the executive community.

Andrew graduated from the University of Redlands with a Bachelor of Arts degree and lives with his wife Monique in Surfside, CA.

Rob joined Bolton & Company in 2014. Previously, he was a lead account manager at Russ Reid Company, a full service marketing agency specializing in the nonprofit sector. He is also an experienced speaker on topics related to business strategy, benefits, organizational behavior and marketing.

Rob consults with for-profit and nonprofit businesses on ways to provide health insurance benefits that are cost effective, and increase overall employee satisfaction. He helps clients to understand the latest industry trends in health care, compliance, and HR technology systems. He is also a true collaborator who believes in making work fun.

Rob is currently on the board of a nonprofit that focuses on community development in the Caribbean and is actively involved with the Los Angeles Mission. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from Pepperdine's Graziadio School of Business Management, and a Bachelor's degree in Theology and Spanish from Azusa Pacific University.

Brandon Burroughs is an active advocate for his clients, seeking the best resources and solutions that will help move their businesses forward and allow them to focus their time and energy on their business objectives and goals. Brandon launched his pursuit in the employee benefits industry in 2011 working exclusively in managing self-funded clients through monthly claims data analysis, reporting, and meeting with HR and CFO contacts to explain intricacies of claims experience, actuarial calculations, and projected renewal impacts. Working with mid-size and large employers headquartered across the country in various industries, Brandon has traveled to company sites nationwide for renewal meetings, claims-experience and benchmarking presentations, wellness screenings, and employee enrollment meetings.

Most recently, Brandon and his wife spent 2 years teaching at an international school in Caracas, Venezuela where he learned Spanish and taught a variety of math, science, social studies, and religion courses with students ranging from 6th-12th grade. Brandon has a love and appreciation for global awareness and travel that began when he worked as CFO and HR of a boutique hotel in the Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan for 1 year immediately following his graduation from his undergraduate studies at Azusa Pacific University. Brandon later returned to Azusa Pacific University to obtain his MBA. In addition to group insurance, Brandon previously provided 401(k) advisory services to mid-size and large employers while holding his series 6 and 63 securities licenses.

Esther joined Bolton & Company in 2010, and has been in the insurance industry since 1993. Previously, she had a successful career in real estate. Esther leads Bolton's efforts to serve organizations with less than 50 employees, providing comprehensive solutions for property & casualty and employee benefits, and specializes in healthcare reform compliance.

Esther is a member of the Santa Fe Springs Chamber of Commerce and the National Hispanic Business Women Association. She is also works with the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC). Esther is a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR), a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), and is Covered California Certified. She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

Matt has over 10 years of experience in the Insurance industry. He has been with Bolton since 2004, and is a shareholder in the firm. He is passionate about protecting his clients, and providing excellent service so that they can focus on what they do best, running their businesses.

Matt is the head of the Construction Practice Group, and also works in the Distribution, Manufacturing, and Non Profit sectors. He is the Alternative Risk / Captive Specialist for the agency.

Matt is an endorsed broker for the California Plumbing Mechanical Contractors Association (CPMCA), National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), and the Southern California Contractors Association (SCCA). For 10 consecutive years he has won the Bolton Eagle Award, which recognizes top brokers for superior work. Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Santa Barbara.

Danny joined Bolton & Company in 2014. Previously, he worked as a financial advisor for Thrivent Financial and an account manager for Balboa Capital. His mission is to develop integrated risk management solutions that meet his clients' needs.

Danny is knowledgeable about life, property & casualty, and health insurance. He helps clients to assess their existing coverage, and advises them on ways to better protect their businesses. He also helps to clarify policy features, and to ensure overall compliance with carrier requirements.

Jeannie has been with Bolton & Company since 2009. With a background in finance, she worked with Countrywide, Bank of America and GMAC for many years. At Bolton, Jeannie supports a variety of industries, including manufacturing, grocery stores, retail and nonprofits. She works closely with her clients to assist in effectively managing their risk exposures, and provides them with valuable resources including claims management, education, safety training and cost reduction.

Jeannie attributes her success to a commitment to helping others succeed, and has a passion for giving back. She enjoys supporting organizations that help those in need and is a current board member of FOHA, on the membership committee of the SGVEP and a past board member with PIHRA. She volunteers her time and efforts to many nonprofits including Lincoln Training Center, Children's Hunger Fund, The Bolton Foundation and local schools.

Greg M. Doherty joined Bolton in 2014, after more than four decades in the insurance business. He has specialized in the dietary supplement industry sector since 2001. His clients include a wide range of raw materials suppliers, contract manufacturers and retailers. He also works with formulators, testing labs, and industry consultants. Greg places coverage for property & casualty, workers' compensation, international exposure, and professional liability risk. He also works with aviation and environmental insurance.

Greg is a member of Consultants Association for the Natural Products Industry (CANI), Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3 (GOED), and serves on the American Herbal Products Association Sports Nutrition Committee. He is a regular guest columnist for Nutraceuticals World and has been published repeatedly over the years in several trade industry publications.

Greg holds several professional designations, including Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM).

Ryan joined Bolton in 2005, following a successful HR career in both the public and private sectors. He consults with finance and HR professionals to reduce the cost of health insurance, enhance benefits, and improve compliance.

Ryan has been honored as Bolton's top consultant for six of the past seven years. He was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2009, and became a shareholder in the firm in 2010. Ryan often speaks at industry events focused on health insurance and employee benefits, including the HR Star Conference, the California HR Conference (PIHRA), and others. He volunteers as Immediate Past Chair for the Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA) in the Pasadena/San Gabriel Valley region. In 2007, he was presented with PIHRA's "Outstanding Volunteer-of-the-Year" award.

Ryan holds a Master's degree in Organizational Development and a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Azusa Pacific University. He is recognized as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM).

John Garner has over thirty five years of experience in employee benefits. He joined Bolton & Company in 2014. Before founding Garner Consulting in 1987, he was a principal in the Los Angeles office of Towers Perrin. He has managed a group claim office for Lincoln National Life, supervised a claim office for Prudential, and served as an underwriter. John is a Chartered Life Underwriter, a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist, a Group Benefit Associate, Retirement Plans Associate, a Certified Management Consultant, and a Certified Flexible Compensation Instructor.

John specializes in compliance, health care reform, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA), and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). He helps clients with life, health, and disability benefits, cost containment, flexible benefits, and claim consulting.

John serves as the National Legislative and Government Affairs Advisor for the Disability Management Employer Coalition. He is a past chair of the CEBS Committee for the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. He is also a past member of the Governing Council of the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists, and past president of the Los Angeles Chapter. John is also the past president of the Employee Benefit Planning Association of Southern California, the Los Angeles Life and Accident Claim Association, and the Western Claim Conference.

John is a member of the Los Angeles Association of Health Underwriters, California Association of Heath Underwriters, National Association of Health Underwriters, Institute of Management Consultants, and a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals. He is the author of the Health Insurance Answer Book and Self-Funding Health Benefit Plans. John's articles have appeared in numerous publications, and he is a frequent speaker on various compliance-related topics. John received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Occidental College.

Jamie joined Bolton in 2014. As a leading producer in the Education Practice Group, Jamie carries the overall responsibility for insurance programs, risk management strategies, and service management for his clients. He handles all client meetings and presentations, oversees the insurance program and exposure analysis, and is responsible for providing insurance industry information updates, and long-term strategic planning for schools' insurance and risk management programs.

Working with a diverse group of clients, Jamie specializes in educational institutions, nonprofit and human service organizations, wholesalers, technology firms and real estate clients.

Jamie earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, majoring in Finance, from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He received his Certified Schools Risk Manager (CSRM) and Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designations.

Rick has specialized in the security industry since 1981. In 1991 he created Rick Gombar Insurance Services, which he ran until merging with Bolton & Company in 2014. Rick has been successful in deflecting potential lawsuits against alarm operators. In the past ten years, he has handled nearly 100 demand attempts totaling over $20,000,000, and won all but two.

Rick is one of the three founders of the Los Angeles County Burglar & Fire Alarm Association, and currently serves as an executive board member. He has also served as Insurance Committee Chairman, Membership Committee Chairman, Bylaws Committee Chairman, and Ethics Committee Chairman. Rick has also conducted seminars for the security industry for the past 33 years, speaking at trade conventions and alarm association educational seminars across the United States.

Rick was awarded the exclusive endorsement of the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association, which represents every local alarm association in the United States. He was named "Man of the Year" by the California Alarm Association, in recognition of lifetime achievement. Rick is a graduate of University of Southern California and holds a post-graduate degree from University of California, Los Angeles.

Jessica joined Bolton & Company in 2015. She previously worked with Fireman's Fund as a high net worth account representative and with Arthur J. Gallagher as a personal lines entertainment account manager. In her role at Bolton, she specializes in high net worth personal lines. Jessica attended Chubb Personal Insurance (CPI) Advanced Producer School, a program designed for producers who seek to differentiate themselves in the personal lines market.

Jessica holds the California Property Casualty Insurance License and is currently pursuing a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. She holds a bachelor's degree in communications and a minor in business from San Diego State University.

John has over 11 years of experience in the Insurance industry, and has been with Bolton since 2003. He became a shareholder in the firm in 2011. John's goal is to protect clients from the risks inherent in owning and operating a business in California.

John provides his clients with the risk management and insurance programs that best fit their needs, and has extensive knowledge of workers' compensation insurance and claims management.

He specializes in the rental industry where he currently consults for many of the top party and equipment rental companies in the nation. He also works with manufacturers and distributors, property owners, contractors and alarm companies.

John is involved with the Loyola High School Alumni Association and dedicates time to the Men's Guild of Children's Hospital Los Angeles. John was awarded a baseball scholarship and was part of the Honors Finance Program at St. Mary's College of California. He graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Economics and a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration.

She has successfully negotiated multi-layered international E&O programs with carriers in London, Bermuda, Switzerland and the United States.

Before joining Bolton in 2013, Todd was the CEO of Preferred Specialty Insurance Services. He has been in the insurance industry for over 19 years, and holds the following designations: CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor), CRM (Certified Risk Manager) and CRIS (Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist). Todd is passionate about helping clients to reduce their total cost of risk so that they can be more productive and profitable. He specializes in the construction, real estate, manufacturing, wholesale, and health care industries, and is active in the Los Angeles Chapter of NECA (National Electrical Contractors Association) as a member, speaker and writer.

Todd feels that it is important to make a positive impact within the insurance industry. He has served as President for the Independent Brokers & Agents of Burbank, Glendale and Pasadena, and was previously the director of the Insurance Brokers & Agents of the West (IBA West). Todd is a recipient of the Harlan Miller Award, which recognizes a broker in California for outstanding dedication to the political grassroots program of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA).

He has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, helping clients to build strategies that address an ever-changing regulatory environment.

Robert's primary focus is providing proactive solutions to address the unique needs of mid-market companies. He previously worked on the carrier side, and brings a technical understanding of self-funded health plans, ancillary products, and underwriting. He uses these unique insights to consistently develop innovative, cost-saving programs for his clients.

Bill has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, and has been with Bolton since 1989. He has earned the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter and Certified Insurance Counselor designations.

Bill covers a variety of industries including manufacturing and construction. He also leads the Technology Practice at Bolton & Company. He is the Southern California broker representative of Tech Assure, a national partnership of firms specializing in risk management for the Tech & Biotech industries. He specializes in professional liability coverage and alternative risk transfer mechanisms such as captives, deductible plans, and self-insured solutions.

Bill a trustee of the Pasadena Methodist Foundation and is a member of the board of directors of Methodist Hospital in Arcadia. He holds Bachelor of Arts degrees from California State University, Los Angeles and San Diego State University.

Mike is a native Angelino with 40 years of insurance and risk management experience. He was President and CEO of Pacific General Insurance Services for 20 years before joining Bolton & Company in January of 2012. Throughout his long career, Mike has worked with clients in a wide range of industries, although he specializes in the nonprofit and social services sectors.

Mike believes that he can provide superior service by bringing the full breadth of Bolton resources to each client relationship, both in property casualty and employee benefits. He works with internal and external risk experts and leverages carrier relationships to maximize business results, and to control the overall cost of risk for clients.

Mike is a graduate of UCLA, and holds Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) designations. He has also completed all Associate in Risk Management (ARM) courses.

Cheryl has over 30 years of experience in insurance and risk management. She has served clients in industries ranging from aviation to technology, and specializes in educational institutions. She holds Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Certified Insurance Services Representative (CISR) and Certified School Risk Manager (CSRM) designations, and has served as a national faculty member for the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research.

Cheryl works with an array of nonprofit organizations, for-profit organizations, and educational institutions to provide strategic risk management solutions. She has developed a forensic audit process to help clients achieve their risk management goals, which includes an insurance coverage review, benchmarking, and best practices recommendations.

Cheryl has been a featured speaker at NAIS (National Association of Independent Schools), NBOA (National Business Officers Association), CAIS (California Association of Independent Schools), SAIS (Southern Association on Independent Schools), MISBO (Mid-South Independent School Business Officers), NCAIS (North Carolina Association of Independent Schools), TABS (The Association of Boarding Schools), PEJE (Partnership for Excellence in Jewish Education), and RAVSAK (The Jewish Community Day School Network) on topics ranging from the basics of insurance coverage to complex risk management strategies.

Brian Metcalfe is a seasoned insurance professional who has been with Bolton since 2001. Prior to joining Bolton, he was a real estate investment broker with Cushman & Wakefield, where he completed over $100 million in transactions.

Brian devotes his insurance practice largely to real estate and development risk, and also has a significant group of larger nonprofit clients focused in child and family services.

He is active in the Business Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). Brian is well versed in environmental exposures, layered property and liability programs, and earthquake insurance. He has completed an array of construction liability programs including condominium, apartment, medical facility, and school construction.

Brian holds an MBA from the University of Connecticut and an additional graduate degree from the Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Lyon in France. He completed his Bachelor of Arts at Clark University in Massachusetts with concentrations in Economics and Real Estate.

Dave joined Bolton in 2014 with many years of experience in the insurance industry. David worked for several years at Merrill Lynch, where he progressed from Operations Controller in 1999 to become Operations Supervisor in 2001. In this capacity, he was responsible for the growth and development of the department, and was subsequently promoted to Director of Internal Audit Preparations.

David is involved with BOMA Silicon Valley and currently serves on the board of directors for the Housing Industry Foundation. He is also involved with the San Jose Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce, and served the City of Palo Alto as both Camp Coordinator and Special Events Coordinator.

David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Puget Sound in Washington.

Brett's ability to listen and clearly understand the needs of each individual business allow her to solve problems that have both a direct and indirect impact on client's bottom line. Her passion and personal dedication have allowed her to build relationships focusing on client concerns.

Brett works on business development in addition to crafting risk management and insurance programs for her existing clients. She consults on all placements, including but not limited to workers' comp, product liability, executive risk, and property. Her clients are from a variety of industries, including advanced manufacturing, clean technology, aerospace, automotive, non-profits, education, construction, transportation and distribution. Brett's previous experience includes providing consultative solutions to businesses through ADP Employer Services, Zurich American Insurance Company, and Safety Resources Risk Management Organization. She is actively involved in local and national business organizations and philanthropic groups, and currently serves on the board of the Pasadena Police Activities League (PAL).

Brett graduated magna cum laude from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. She holds the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC).

For the past 30 years Paul has helped clients to manage risk, care for their employees, and protect their assets. He joined Bolton in 2001, and has since helped clients to build better run, more profitable companies.

Paul specializes in the manufacturing, distribution and service industries. He works with an on-staff team of specialists in loss control, claims management, and human resources to mitigate corporate risk and to provide competitive employee benefits programs.

Paul is a designated Associate of Risk Management (ARM) and a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). For more than 20 years, Tom Polenzani has built a strong reputation as a leader in the field of employee benefits. As the Director of Employee Benefits at Bolton & Company, he works with a team of industry experts committed to providing broader perspective and business solutions to a range of clients in a number of industries.

A health and life insurance specialist, Tom provides creative resources, experience and thoughtful assistance to his clients, with a focus on group employee benefit programs. Beyond the day-to-day operations of business, he's been active in the field of volunteer organizations, industry association boards and meeting with legislators as an advocate in the state and national healthcare debate. Tom is passionate about access to Health Care for everyone. He helps promote this vision by serving on the Board at Young and Healthy Pasadena and working with many community clinics and non-profit legal aid organizations.

Prior to joining Bolton & Company, Tom led his own firm, Polenzani Benefits, for over a decade, where he gained experience working with nonprofit organizations and independent private schools. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Santa Clara University. Tom and his wife are very active in coaching their two young sons in soccer and track.

While attending University of Southern California to get his business marketing degree, Brad started his career in insurance with Lincoln National Life. In the late 70's, he led the nation in small group sales for Mutual Benefit Life. In 1982, he established Bradley G. Reaume Insurance Services, and merged with Bolton & Company in 2012. He joined Bolton as Executive Vice President.

With over 30 years experience in employee benefits, Brad's mission is to provide clients with a full range of resources and services. He also helps clients to understand and implement the regulations and compliance requirements of the Affordable Care Act. Brad specializes in all lines of employee benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Long and Short-Term Disability, and 401(k) programs.

Brad has volunteered his time and resources in support of Five Acres, an organization supporting vulnerable children and their families for over 20 years. He is currently the Secretary on the Board of Directors, Chairman of the Board of Affairs, and is on the HR Committee and the Golf Committee. He is a recipient of the Five Acres Person of the Year award and the Five Acres Dorothy Cook Lifetime Achievement Award.

Jacqueline sits on a district board for Professionals in Human Resources Association and is involved with the Society of Human Resources Management. She fundraises for Azusa Pacific University's East Africa Scholarship Fund. Jacqueline holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Azusa Pacific in Communication.

R.C. Schrader is the head of the Latino Practice Group at Bolton & Company. He has over 30 of years of experience in international sales, marketing, public relations, and risk management, in both the private and public sectors. Previously, he was appointed by Governor Pete Wilson as Director of the California Trade & Commerce Agency in Mexico, where he spearheaded vital trade and investment opportunities to the mutual benefit of California and Mexico.

At Bolton, R.C. has built a team of bilingual and bicultural insurance professionals that cater to Latino businesses. R.C. takes a "tropicalized" approach to his practice, bridging the business and cultural gaps between Latin America and the United States.

R.C. sits on the business advisory boards of SoCal Tech Group and Global Promotions. He has also held board positions with the White Memorial Medical Foundation, Boy Scouts of America, Nacional Financiera (NAFIN), and Premier Choice DME Inc. R.C. was a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, and his previous company, International Matrix, was awarded International Corporation of the Year by the Latino Business Association.

Jonathan earned his MBA from the Anderson School of Business at UCLA in 2000, and his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation from the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research in 2010. He is past President of the Independent Brokers & Agents Association of the San Fernando Valley, current President of the UCLA Anderson Alumni Network in Los Angeles, and serves on the Executive Committee for the Board of Directors of Inner-City Arts, a non-profit program that unlocks the creative potential of inner-city children in downtown Los Angeles.

A Bay Area native, she graduated from U.C. Berkeley on the Dean's List as a Chancellor's Scholar. She was also a board member of the Silicon Valley Health Underwriters Association.

Corey joined Bolton in 2014, and has worked in the insurance industry since 2011. He is passionate about building long-lasting relationships with clients, and providing them with the best possible solutions. He has worked with many small and medium-sized businesses and is knowledgeable about property and casualty, life and health insurance.

Corey specializes in working with elevator contractors, but also covers manufacturing, distributing, healthcare, and construction. He is a member of the National Association of Elevator Contractors, and volunteers his time with the Bolton Foundation and Make A Difference.

Corey holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from DeVry University and is currently pursuing his Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI) and Certified Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designations.

Ken joined Bolton & Company in 1990, and holds an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation. He specializes in working with manufacturers, property owners, contractors, and security guard companies to identify potential exposures, and to design comprehensive risk management programs.

Ken is active with the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of California (IIABCal) and is currently President of the association. He has also served on the Executive Committee for the past three years. He served as a Southern California Regional Director for IIABCal and has served on various committees at the state level. He was the chairperson of the IBA West Service Corporation from 2007-2009. He is also the past president of the local chapter of the Insurance Brokers & Agents of Burbank, Glendale, & Pasadena.

Ken graduated from the University of Redlands (CA) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Jeff has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, and joined Bolton & Company in 1992. He is a shareholder in the firm, and has served as a member of both the Bolton Management Team and the Bolton Advisory Board and Standards Committee. He has also participated in the Agency Advisory Council for Safeco Insurance.

Jeff helps clients with workers' compensation, risk control, safety programs and claims management. He works primarily with manufacturers, contractors, medical device makers, high tech companies and distributors. He specializes in alternative risk transfer programs such as large deductible plans, retrospective rated plans, and captives.

Jeff serves on the Foundation Board of the Santa Clarita Valley Boys and Girls Club. He received his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
