PASADENA, California – The Bolton Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Pasadenabased insurance broker Bolton & Company, announced Thursday that it has awarded $22,500 in grants to 13 local nonprofit organizations that have proven their dedication to community development, education, youth services and multiculturalism.
The contributions are provided through the year-round fundraising efforts of the Bolton Foundation and its partners. Foundation Chairman and Bolton Chief Operating Officer Mike Morey said this latest donation is part of a much larger commitment to local involvement and empowerment.
“There are so many wonderful organizations that do so much good within the community,” said Morey. “It’s incredibly inspiring. If we can help those who help others have an even greater impact, it’s a win-win situation. It’s what we’re all about.”
