The charter school landscape has gone through major changes in the last few years, creating more challenges for administrators. Please join us for a webinar covering this year’s California legislative updates that are relevant to charter schools and usually effective by January 1, 2024.
Jonathan Schreter, Executive Vice President of Bolton’s Education and Nonprofit Practice Group, hosts our partner Attorney Keith Yanov who will present the high-level topics covering updates regarding charter petitions, student discipline, student instruction, special education, after-school programs, human resources, payroll, PERS, LCAP/LCFF, and CalPADS.
Webinar registrants will receive, in advance of the webinar for review, a handout with brief summaries of the most impactful legislation and items requiring action by charter schools by the effective date of the legislation (usually January 1, 2024). A catalog containing detailed descriptions of all California legislative updates relevant to charter schools will become available during the webinar.
