How it Works.

Each year, teams comprised of Bolton employees, clients and partners sign up to compete during the tournament. Money raised during the Throw Down is generated through participation fees and sponsorship opportunities, and it is used to provide grant funding for future Bolton Foundation Beacons, in addition to smaller donations provided to select nonprofits throughout the year. Throw Down’s Impact.

A major component of our Throw Down is the Bolton Foundation Beacon award ceremony, which highlights four nonprofit organizations selected annually by the Bolton Foundation Committee for the positive impact they make within the communities they serve. During the ceremony, we present each nonprofit with a grant funding check to provide additional support for the awesome work they do. After the Throw Down, The Bolton Foundation Committee provides additional donations throughout the year to deserving nonprofits within California.
